Official understanding is a humbling thing.
As organizers, developers, administrators, and general caretakers of public and private education and learning systems, we are tasked with the insurmountable: conquer a youngster’s natural tendency to play, rebel, and self-direct in hopes of offering them with a ‘excellent education.’ Reading, composing, arithmetic, and so on.
